Rising dramatically from the eastern edge of Praia da Luz’s beach stands one of the Algarve’s most distinctive geological wonders, the towering black cliffs of Black Rock (Rocha Negra). This magnificent viewpoint, perched atop the dark volcanic rock formation, offers visitors one of the most spectacular panoramic vistas along Portugal’s southern coastline.

You can reach this point by going up the cliff up to The Atalaia Luz Obelisk, just continue the path and you will reach the view point! If you continue on the path you will eventually reach Porto de Mós beach as part of the fishermans trail.
