Rocha Negra (Black Rock) is a cliff on the east-side of the village, created from volcanic action millions of years ago that created that black granite that kinda carves trough the more common Algarvian sandstone cliffs.

Its for sure one of the most famous sights from the Algarve and from vila da Luz.
